Frostburg Field Hockey Senior Game Against Converse University

This past Saturday afternoon, Frostburg field hockey played at home for their senior game against Converse University. Converse came out strong having six shots on goal during the first period. Frostburg’s goalkeeper, Maggie Haupt, kept the Bobcats standing in a zero to zero running for the first half.

By the third quarter, Frostburg got their first shot off with a save by the Converse keeper, followed by another shot and a successful goal by Heidi Van Dyke. Converse was able to score their first goal against the Bobcats a few minutes later having a score of one to one. In the fourth quarter, Converse made two more goals which finished off the game. Converse overall had seventeen shots against Frostburg with fourteen saves made by the Bobcats, in addition to one shot and goal scored by Frostburg.

The Bobcats play next on Homecoming weekend at home against Mansfield.
