FSU, USM Schools To Receive Funds Through CARES Act

The federal Department of Education announced today the amount that each college and university will receive in stimulus funds as a result of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. TBL previously reported on what the CARES Act could mean for Frostburg and its students.

Each college and university in the country will be receiving assistance from the federal government, as promised by Congress. A portion of the funds are reserved for Emergency Financial Aid Grants for students. Below is a break down of allocation for all of the University System of Maryland schools.
