Women’s Field Hockey Wins at Bobcat Stadium

The Bobcat Women’s Field Hockey team celebrates their first victory at home this season against Seton Hill (PA). This was the second time the Bobcats faced Seton Hill. After losing to them the first time, the Bobcats came back and ended up winning 2-1 this round. 

Both Emily Hughes and Taylor Henderson scored their first goals of the season at this match. Henderson got an assist on Hughes’ goal and later scored herself to give the Bobcats a 2-1 lead. Henderson scored her goal off a corner in the 4th quarter.

The Bobcats then played Kutztown, currently ranked no. 7, on Friday October 1st where they lost 0-2. Kutztown took 34 shots with only 15 on goal, but only put two in the back of the net. Frostburg’s Taylor Henderson was the only one who put a shot on the net. Madison Manalansan had a high of 11 saves during the game. The Bobcats ended the week with a record of 1-8.
