11/2/18 Medical Emergency: A Cumberland Hall student was transported by ambulance to the hospital for flu like symptoms.
 
11/2/18 Medical Emergency: A Westminster Hall student was transported by ambulance to the hospital for shortness of breath and chest pains.
 
11/2/18 Hit & Run: Officers investigated a reported hit and run traffic collision that occurred in the Center Street Parking Lot. Video surveillance revealed the vehicle was not damaged on campus, possibly on Paul Street, Frostburg.
 
11/2/18 Destruction of Property: A Simpson Hall student reported damage to her clothing by her roommate.  The student reported a pile of clothing was damaged by bleach and believes the roommate poured bleach on her clothing. Student was provided a victim/witness pamphlet and was advised this incident would be sent to the Judicial Board for review.
 
11/2/18 Drug Law Violation: Officers responded to the 4th floor of Westminster Hall to investigate a reported marijuana odor. Officers were unable to locate the source of the odor. Officers locate two water bottles with a few roaches inside in an empty storage closet, and did not see anyone in the area of the closet during the time  of the investigation. Both bottles were removed from the closet and disposed of in a trash can.
 
11/2/18 Request For Officer: Officers were dispatched to the 4th floor of Frederick Hall for a CDS complaint. Officers checked the entire floor and did not detect any odor of CDS.
 
11/3/18 Liquor Law Violation: Officers heard a loud noise coming from Bowery St. and noticed two males walking and a third male running down Bowery St., and observed Red plastic Adirondack Chairs broken in the middle of American Ave. Frostburg City Police were alerted and responded to the area. One male subject, a non-FSU student, was issued a civil citation for possession/consumption of an alcoholic beverage under 21 years of age. The owner of the Adirondack Chairs refused to press charges on the male involved in the DOP. Frostburg City Police obtained the suspect‘s information and released him from the scene. No further police action taken by this agency.
 
11/3/18 Community Policing: Officers spoke with individuals about open containers at a Bowery Street residence.
 
11/3/18 Assist Other Agency: Officers assisted the Frostburg City Police with a noise complaint on Paul Street, Frostburg.
 
11/3/18 Assist Other Agency: Officers assisted the Frostburg City Police with a suspicious vehicle complaint at the Draft Sports Bar on E. Main Street, Frostburg.
 
11/3/18 Check on Well Being: Officers responded to the 3rd floor of Frederick Hall to check on a student. Student was located and reported her phone was not working.
 
11/3/18 Community Policing: Officers conducted a ride-along activity with a FSU student who is interested in a career in law enforcement and was curious to see what FSUPD officers do.
 
11/3/18 Medical Emergency: A Frost Hall student was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Student had fainted and passed out.
 
11/4/18 Request for Officer: Officers responded to the Cumberland Hall lobby area for the odor of CDS. The area was checked and no odor of CDS was detected in the area.
 
11/4/18 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to a reported vehicle collision on Braddock Road, Frostburg.  Upon arrival, officers immediately noticed three vehicles involved in a collision. All vehicles were out of the travel portion of the roadway. According to one driver, she was driving and sneezed, which caused her to pull on her steering wheel, causing her vehicle to strike another vehicle parked on the shoulder. It was determined that vehicle was traveling southbound on Braddock Road and had struck the rear of an unoccupied silver Volkswagen Golf that was forced over an embankment where it came to rest.  JTC Towing was contacted and towed both from the scene. No injuries were reported.
 
11/4/18  Request For Officer: Westminster Hall Resident Assistant reported three students smoking outside by the picnic tables. Upon arrival, the students had vacated prior to arrival. No one was seen in the area.
 
11/4/18 Request For Officer: Officers met with the Cumberland Hall Resident Assistant who reported she had a mediation between two student earlier in the evening and wanted it documented with the police.
 
11/4/18 Medical Emergency: A Frederick Hall student was transported by ambulance to the hospital for a mental status change. Parents and FSU CAPS notified.
 
11/05/2018 CDS- Officers responded to Edgewood Commons for an odor of CDS. A foot patrol was conducted in the area with negative results. Officers unable to locate the source of the odor.
 
11/05/2018 CDS – Officers responded to Allen Hall for a report of an odor of marijuana near the 1st floor stairwell.  Officers reported the entire 2nd floor smelled of marijuana.  Officers advised patrol checks will be completed.
 
11/05/2018  Hit and Run – Student complainant witnessed a hit and run  in the Cumberland Lot.  The witness followed the suspect vehicle to S. Broadway.  After officers contacted the owner of the suspect vehicle, she advised she hit a wooden guardrail not another vehicle.  After investigation, it was verified the subject did back over wooden guardrail and did not hit another vehicle.  The subject was issued a written warning for failure of driver in an accident to report property damage to nearest police.
 
11/05/2018 Medical Emergency – EMS requested to PE Center for a possible dislocated knee.  Subject transported to WMRMC.
 
11/05/2018 Check on Well Being – Officers were dispatched to Gray Hall to check on a student regarding statements that were made to a third party.  The subject advised she did not make any statements about harming herself and denied ever making such statements.  CAPS was notified of incident.
 
11/05/2018 –Noise Complaint –Student was notified regarding a noise compliant at Cumberland Hall. Officers requested the music be turned down. Student complied without further incident.
 
11/06/2018 Medical Emergency- Allegany County Dispatch requested officers respond to Cumberland Hall for a possible change in mental status.
 
11/06/2018 Theft Misdemeanor – Student contacted headquarters regarding a student identification card being stolen and found to be used by someone to make purchases.  Security camera recording will be looked at to see if the responsible party can be identified.
 
Summary period includes 60 calls for service and 4 traffic stops
