2014 iTunes Festival

From March 12 to 15, the annual iTunes Festival musical concert begins and five nights of good music will take place. The first iTunes concert was held in 2007 and it still continuing strong today.  Headlining the iTunes Festival this year is an impressive lineup, featuring the biggest names in music today everyone can be sure to appreciate.

Starting on March 12, Coldplay steps to the stage. Perhaps the band will perform their new melodic single “Magic,” which hit airwaves in early March. Next up is Imagine Dragons, a soulful rock band best known for their debut single “It’s Time,” followed by newcomer group London Grammar, fused with electronic and indie pop sounds. Additional talent acts you can expect to see performing live include Kendrick Lamar, winner of BET Awards Best New Artist in 2013, as well as Schoolboy Q, whose record “Oxymoron” made it to the top of the charts, debuting at number one on Billboards 200 albums chart.

Fans can also expect performances by Pitbull, Keith Urban, Zedd and so much more. The iTunes festival, sponsored by Apple, Inc. is a unique concert experience. Tickets are given away for free to all members of iTunes through limited prize draws.

In addition, Apple expanded its Apple TV lineup just for this special occasion. This upgrade includes a refurbished iTunes channel where while the concert is happening. The performances are available to be streamed live at no charge. Participants can also view lineups and artist information while following along with the show.  As an added gift, playback is also available to audiences, ready to be viewed afterward the show for a limited time on iTunes and Apple TV.
