Armed Robbery Occurs at Nearby Student Rental Home
A BURG alert warned the Frostburg State campus community of a “Possible Armed Robbery” at 1:26 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.
Two masked, black males entered a student rental home on the 100 block of Wood Street. The suspects took an iPhone and a small safe containing cash, according to the Cumberland Times-News. The two reportedly trained a long gun and handgun on a student as they took the belongings. They left the scene in a Nissan Altima.
Frostburg State University Campus Police representatives were unable to provide comment at press time. A Frostburg City police officer stated the case was “turned over to C3I.” Efforts to reach C3I were unsuccessful at press time.
