I am a Senior at Frostburg State University. I am majoring in English with dual concentrations in Literature and Professional Writing as well as a minor in Journalism.
I began my journalistic endeavors at 16 years old with my hometown's newspaper, the Custer County Chief.
Since my first internship, I have become Managing Editor for Frostburg's newspaper, The Bottom Line, as well as a freelance journalist for Southern Maryland News Net and The Dominion Post.
I thrive on scheduling, planning, and writing long-winded essays analyzing literature.
In my, albeit limited, spare time I enjoy playing music on my ukulele, taking far too many pictures, and hanging around with my pet snakes.
My name is Mia McCaslin, and I am constitutionally incapable of remaining silent.
