Bobcat Sports – A Week in Advance

Men’s Lacrosse: Following an overtime thriller, the men’s lacrosse team will travel to compete in the ECC GMAC Challenge Cup on Saturday, Feb. 29th to take on Walsh (Ohio) at 2 p.m.

Men’s Basketball: Coming off a close loss, the men’s basketball team will have an opportunity to earn another win against MEC foe Davis & Elkins on Wednesday, Feb. 26th at Bobcat Arena with tip-off at 7:30 p.m. The men will conclude their regular season with a trip to Fairmount State on Saturday, Feb. 29th for a 4 p.m. start.

Baseball: After earning their first win of the season, the baseball team will stay closer to Frostburg with a trip to Shepherdstown, W.VA. to play Shepherd with the first pitch to be thrown at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29th.

Women’s Lacrosse: The MEC’s first pick will look to earn their first win of the season against Alderson Broaddus this Thursday, Feb. 27th in an away game set to start at 4 p.m. The women’s lacrosse team will take on Chestnut Hill on Saturday, Feb. 29th at 1 p.m. for their home opener at Bobcat Stadium.

Women’s Basketball: The women’s basketball team will look to add another win against Davis & Elkins this Wednesday, Feb. 26th at Bobcat Arena with a 5:30 p.m. tip-off. They will close out their regular season against Fairmount State University on Saturday, Feb. 29th at 2 p.m.

Softball: Heading south, the Bobcats softball team will travel to play in the Chowan Tournament in Murfreesboro, N.C. Saturday, Feb. 29th and Sunday, March 1st. The softball team will start their weekend with a game against Elizabeth City State on Saturday at 1 p.m. before playing Chowan at 3 p.m. They will play both Elizabeth City State and Chowan again on Sunday at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
