BSA Presents Soul Circus
On Friday Feb. 22, the Black Student Alliance (BSA) held an event at the Lane Center in the Manicur Assembly Hall entitled, Soul Circus. The event kicked off at 7 pm.
With a full house, the circus theme talent show started with dancers to get the energy flowing. There were judges that dictated each contestant. Up first, Ashley Nicholes was the first person to come to the stage. She started to sing and the crowd immediately loved it. The judges gave her all nines across the board, which held her in first place. A lot of contestants had a number of talents like rapping and spoken word. The VC models performed next, and the energy was like no other. The judges responded with all tens, which put them in first place.
The audience’s support didn’t go unnoticed. Clowns came out, and a ball went around. There was a quick five minute intermission during which the CSA danced along with other dancers and models.
The night ended as the host thanked everyone for coming out. BSA put on an amazing show, and everyone’s performance got the love it deserved. This event showed unity, positivity, and happiness.
