CES Presents Cirque Mei
Once again, CES held another amazing event. On Tuesday, Oct. 8, Cirque Mei was held in the Pealer Recital Hall in the Performing Arts Center. Cirque Mei is a Chinese group of male and female Elite Circus Artists and Acrobats from Province, China who really represented their culture in the way they know how. The show that they gave took time to practice and get right because no one missed a single beat. The Recital Hall on Tuesday night was full of community members and students wanting to see an amazing show.
Throughout the whole performance, the crowd was stunned to see the talents of so many of the performers.
“This is the reason why I come out of the house. Frostburg State always brings the best of the best to come wow us all,” a member of the Frostburg community mentioned.
CES dips into many different cultures and never focuses on just one and that genuinely shows how much excitement and knowledge they bring to the table at Frostburg State University.
Our “goal on campus is to highlight all the cultures that are represented on campus and not even on campus,” a CES staff member said.
These kinds of performances and shows are truly the upbringing of our college and community. If you missed this show, be sure to check out “An Evening with Jo Dee Messina” on Oct. 19th at 7:30 p.m. in ARMAH.
