10/2/19 Skateboard Complaint: While on patrol, officers observed a male subject riding a skateboard in the Performing Arts Center Lot of Frostburg State University. He was advised that skateboarding on campus is prohibited.
10/2/19 Community Policing: Officers spoke with a parent about moped regulations.
10/2/19 Crime Prevention: Officers attended a BSA forum in the Compton Hall.
10/2/19 Destruction of Property: FSU student reported his red Dodge Charger was keyed while parked in the PE Center lot. The investigation is continuing.
10/2/19 Skateboard Complaint: Officers in the area of the Clock Tower spoke with individuals not associated with the university and advised them there is no skateboarding on campus and requested they leave campus property.
10/2/19 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to Maple Street, just North of Stoyer Street, to assist Frostburg City Police who located a male juvenile who police had been searching for in reference to a reported attempted stabbing at 2 Powell’s Lane. Upon arrival, Frostburg City Police had the subject in custody. The subject was then transported to FPD for processing. A Burg alert was issued for the incident.
10/03/2019 Notification – Contractor advised he set off an alarm at Pullen Hall.
10/03/2019 Traffic Accident – Officers responded to Gunter Lot where a student swerved from her lane and hit the curb to avoid being hit from a vehicle who was traveling in her lane.
10/03/2019 Assist Other Agency – Assisted Allegany County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop on University Drive.
10/04/2019 Fire Alarm – Officers responded to Cumberland Hall for a fire alarm. Student was drying her hair set off the alarm.
10/04/2019 Request for Officer – Officers responded to Frederick Hall for an odor of CDS. Upon arrival, Officers could not detect any odor.
10/04/2019 Public Urination While Patrolling on Bowery Street, two females were issued Civil Citations for violation of urinating in public. Neither were current FSU students.
10/04/2019 Assisted Other Agency (ACSO) – Veterans Center on Park Avenue. Suspected marijuana was located in the trunk of the vehicle ACSO will apply for charges. A referral was made to the Judicial Board.
10/04/2019 Noise Complaint – Westminster Hall – Upon arrival no noise was audible. A patrol of the area was performed.
10/05/2019 Assist Other Agency (FPD) Assisted FPD on Broadway Street with a noise complaint. Approximately 94 individuals that exited the residence. FPD issue a civil citation as a result of the noise complaint and a judicial board referral has been submitted.
10/05/2019 Assist Other Agency (ACSO) – Officers assisted ACSO on Braddock Road on a traffic stop.
10/05/2019 Assist Other Agency (FPD) Officers assisted FPD with a large crowd in the area of the F-Bar on Welsh Hill. Upon arrival on scene there was no noticeable disturbance occurring. Officers stood by for several minutes before clearing the scene.
10/05/2019 Assist Other Agency (FPD) Officers assisted several other allied agencies in responding to the F-Bar for a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers stood by for several minutes until a large crowd left the area.
10/05/2019 Request for Officer – Tour Engineer notified headquarters of subjects that were here for the football game entering the fenced off area between PE building and the tennis courts. The area has a large uncovered hole that could cause harm if an individual would fall in. Officers responded, re-attached the orange construction fencing and directed all foot traffic in a different direction. There were no injuries.
10/05/2019 Theft – Misdemeanor – While patrolling College Avenue Officers observed a female carrying an orange color construction traffic barrel. Officers took possession of the barrel and released the female. An application for charges will be filled and a J-Board referral will be submitted.
10/05/2019 Public Urination – While on patrol on Bowery Street Officers observed a male subject urinating in public. Officers attempted to make contact however, the subject fled the area. The subject did not comply when asked to stop. A BOLO was put out. A patrol of the area was conducted with negative results.
10/05/2019 Assist Other Agency – (FPD) Officers responded to the intersection of American Avenue and Bowery Street. Officers stood by while FPD issued a female a civil citation for an open container violation. The female, not an FSU student was uncooperative during her interaction with FPD and refused to sign a civil citation issued to her.
10/05/2019 Open Container – While patrolling near the intersection of East College and Hill Street, Officers issued a citation to a non-student for an open container violation.
10/06/2019 Alcohol Violation – While on patrol on Park Avenue near the intersection of Bowery Street, Officers issued a civil citation for underage possession of alcohol a judicial board referral was submitted.
10/06/2019 Alcohol Violation – While traveling West on Oak Street Officers issued a civil citation for underage possession of alcohol, a judicial Board referral was submitted.
10/06/2019 Assist Other Agency – Officers responded to Bowery Street with several officers from allied agencies to assist with a noise complaint. Officers stood by until a large crowd within the residence was dispersed.
10/06/2019 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Officers assisted FPD with a noise complaint on Wood Street. Upon arrival, large groups of people were already clearing the area. Officers stood by until a large majority of the crowd cleared the scene.
10/06/2019 Assist Other Agency (FPD) Officers were requested to respond to Paul Street to assist FPD with a disturbance in the area.
10/06/2019 Disturbance – Officers responded to the area of College Ave. and Wood Street for a male subject walking in the middle of the road. Subject who was located on College Avenue near Frost Hall attempted to walk away and resist. As a result of the incident the individual, a non-student was transported to WMRMC for an emergency evaluation. Officers received minor injuries during the contact.
10/06/2019 Assist Other Agency (FPD) Officers assisted FPD on Maple Street in a home while a subject picked up some of her belongings. Protective order was served by ACSO. No FSU students were involved
10/06/2019 CDS – A call came from Frederick Hall to report an odor of CDS. Upon arrival, a faint odor was detected. A foot patrol of the entire building was conducted however the source of the odor could not be determined.
10/07/2019 Request for Officer: A call came into headquarters for a report of what sounded like a gun shot and a scream from the upper quad. As Officers responded a class cold be seen by dispatch on Ocularis launching rockets. This was the source of the sound. Contact was made with the instructor to notify UPD in advance for such events and the complaint was advised.
10/07/2019 Assault – Officers were dispatched to the Fuller House for a report of an assault. As a result of the investigation a judicial referral was completed and charges are forthcoming.
10/07/2019 Trespassing Officers responded to Frederick Hall for a report of a subject who had been expelled and was on campus. As a result of the investigation paraphernalia and marijuana was located in plain view. Subject was issued a civil citation for the possession of marijuana under 10 grams and also charged with Trespassing on School/College Grounds.
10/08/2019 Harassment – Subject came into headquarters to report being harassed by another resident in Edgewood. All subjects agreed to cease and desist any type of contact with each other.
10/08/2019 Theft – Misdemeanor – Subject came into headquarters to report money stolen from his wallet at the coat check during FSU Homecoming activities. A review of the Ocularis Camera Recording System will be completed, investigation continuing.
10/08/2019 Fraud – Subject advised that his friend’s ex-girlfriend is using his expired parking permit. Officers will be making contact with the subject.
10/08/2019 Theft – Misdemeanor – Subject came into headquarters to report that her Apple Air pods were missing or stolen from her room in Annapolis Hall. The investigation is continuing.
10/08/2019 Noise Complaint – Officers responded to a request for an officer for a noise complaint at Westminster Hall. Upon arrival music could be heard. Contact was made and the individual playing music lowered the sound and agreed to keep it down.
