10/23/2019   Theft – Misdemeanor – Officers investigated the theft of a TI-84 calculator stolen from a dorm room.

 

10/23/2019   Request for Officer – Officers responded to Edgewood Commons regarding a verbal confrontation. As a result of the investigation a judicial referral was submitted.

 

10/24/2019   Assist Other Agency (ACSO) Officers assisted ACSO on a traffic stop near Edgewood.  As a result of the traffic stop a judicial board referral was submitted.

 

10/24/2019   Hit & Run – Officers investigated a hit and run accident, they were unable to determine where the accident had occurred.

 

10/24/2019   Assist Other Agency (ACSO) – Officers stood by on Braddock Rd near University Dr. while ACSO conducted a PC Search of the vehicle.  Two occupants of the vehicle were arrested and subsequently charged with CDS related charges.  Non- FSU Students.

 

10/25/2019   Assist Other Agency (FPD) Officers responded to Maple Street to assist FPD on a domestic incident.

 

10/25/2019   Assist Other Agency (FPD) Officers assisted MSP regarding a follow up interview at Frederick Hall.

 

10/25/2019   Damage to Property – Officers met with a subject at Headquarters who advised he had noticed dents on the hood of his vehicle.  It is unknown when or where the damage occurred.

 

10/26/2019   Theft – Misdemeanor Officers were dispatched to Annapolis for a report of a possible theft.  The investigation is continuing.

 

10/26/2019   Theft – Felony – Officers were contacted at Headquarters by a victim of electronic theft of funds. A total loss of $3000.00 was reported.  Funds were exhausted through an online application called “Cash App”.  A report number was generated in order for the subject’s funds to be returned from the bank.  Case suspended due to lack of suspects or other evidence.

 

10/26/2019   Assist Other Agency- Officers were dispatched to gray Lot for a report of a motor vehicle collision which had occurred on Park Avenue.  FSUPD stood by while FPD conducted the investigation.

 

10/27/2019   CDS While Officers were assisting a student they could smell an odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the area.  As a result of a consent search officers located a fake driver’s, CDS paraphernalia and trace CDS.   Charges were preferred regarding the fake license and the student was referred to the judicial board.

 

10/27/2019   Traffic Arrest – As a result of a traffic stop on Center Street a non-student was issued a citation for Driving Motor Vehicle on Highway or Public Use Property on Suspended out of State License, and a warning for driving Wrong Way-One Way Street.

 

10/27/19 Harassment – Officers investigated a reported harassment between former roommates.  As a result a judicial referral was submitted.

 

10/27/19 CDS – Officers responded to the area of Allen Hall for a report of an odor of marijuana.  As a result of the investigation two students were referred to the Judicial Board.

 

10/27/19 CDS – Officers responded to Sowers Hall for a report of a CDS odor.  As a result of the investigation four students were referred to the Judicial Board.

 

10/28/2019   CDS Officers responded to the area behind Westminster for a report of students smoking marijuana.  As a result of the investigation paraphernalia was recovered and a judicial board referral was submitted.

 

10/28/2019   Assist Other Agency (FPD) Officers assisted FPD on Stoyer Street for a male swinging a machete during a domestic incident.  Upon arrival FSUPD assisted in crowd control while FPD investigated the incident.  There were no FSU students involved.

 

Summary period includes 172 calls for service and 19 traffic stops
