1/24/18 Crime Prevention: Officers conducted an Active Shooter Training session with the Residence Life Staff in the CCIT Building.
1/24/18 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to Hill St., Frostburg, to assist the Frostburg City Police with a suicide attempt. Upon arrival, Frostburg City Police were escorting the individual into an ambulance for an Emergency Petition. Due to the subjects mental state, disruptive behavior, officers stood by until the subject was removed from the scene.
1/27/18 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to the Seven Eleven Convenience store parking lot , 125 E. Main Street, Frostburg, at the request of the Frostburg City Police, for a fight in progress. As a result of the investigation a judicial board referral was submitted.
1/28/17 Drug Law Violation: Officers responded to Cumberland Hall for the reported odor of burnt marijuana. As a result of the investigation a judicial board referral was submitted.
1/28/18 Drug Law Violation: Officers responded to Cumberland Hall for the reported odor of burnt marijuana. As a result of the investigation a judicial board referral was submitted.
1/29/18 Alarm: Officers responded to the Appalachian Lab, 301 Braddock Rd., Frostburg, for an unauthorized entry alarm activation. Upon arrival, officers checked all entrances and found personnel still inside of the building. No further police action needed.
1/29/18 Drug Law Violation: Officers responded to the 4th floor quad area of Frederick Hall for a CDS complaint. Investigation revealed the strong odor of burnt marijuana was originating in a broom closet. Contact was made with one resident, however, no odor of marijuana was detected within their residence. Residence Life personnel notified.
1/29/18 Drug Law Violation: Officers responded to Simpson Hall for a CDS complaint. As a result of the investigation a judicial board referral was submitted.
1/30/18 Request For Officer: The Brady Health Center requested an officer speak with a student who fell on the CCIT Building steps on 1/29/18 and scraped her knee.
1/30/18 Request For Officer: Cumberland Hall Resident Assistant reported an odor of possible marijuana in the West wing of the first floor. As a result of the investigation a judicial board referral was submitted.
1/30/18 Crime Prevention: Officers spoke with the Cumberland Hall Resident Director and Assistants regarding numerous topics on policies of guests, security of the building, general information on FSUPD and student safety, and other questions.
1/30/18 Drug Law Violation: Officers were dispatched to Cumberland Hall for a reported odor of burnt marijuana. Investigation revealed officers were unable to detect any odor in several rooms or observe anything in plain view, indicating anything illegal. No further police action taken.
