Crime Line 2/18 – 2/23
2/18/15 CDS: Officers were dispatched to Frederick Hall in reference to a complaint of cds activity. Upon arrival officers detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana emanating from the a room in Frederick Hall. As a result of the investigation one student was referred to the Judicial Board.
2/19/15 CDS: Officers responded to Annapolis Hall for the smell of marijuana. When officers were directed to the room of the smell they made contact with the residents who allowed them to search the room. One civil citation for possession of marijuana was issued, and three subjects were referred to the J-board.
2/20/15 Traffic Accident: Student reported a traffic accident traffic accident which had occurred earlier in the day. No injuries were reported.
2/20/15 Community Policing: Knock & Talks were held at Simpson Hall. Officers spoke with the students about walking safely from place to place at night.
2/21/15 Assist Other Agency: Officers were dispatched to Bowery Street in Frostburg, to assist Frostburg City Police who were attempting to clear a house party where a male subject was suffering from an alcohol overdose. Victim was transported by ambulance to WMRMC.
2/21/2015 Assist Other Agency: Officers assisted the Frostburg City Police with a vehicle parked in the middle of Beall Street. Vehicle was towed by JC Towing.
2/21/15 Drug Law Violation: Officers were dispatched to Simpson Hall for a report of an odor of marijuana. As a result of the investigation one student was referred to the Judicial Board.
2/21/2015 Drug Law Violation: Officers were dispatched Cambridge Hall for a report of an odor of marijuana. Officers were unable to make contact with the residents.
2/22/15 Disorderly Conduct: Officers assigned to a dance at the Lane Center issued two criminal citations, Disorderly Conduct and Failure to obey a Reasonable and lawful order to an intoxicated disorderly individual who repeatedly tried to enter the venue.
2/22/2015 Alarm: Officers were dispatched to Cumberland Hall for a report of fire alarm activation. Two pull stations had been activated however there was no fire.
2/22/15 Dating Violence: Officers were dispatched to Westminster Hall, for a Request for Officer Call. Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant/victim who stated she was having a problem with her ex-boyfriend. The victim was advised of her rights to pursue criminal charges. Title IX officer notified.
2/23/14 Theft: Student reported the theft of her book bag that occurred between 1700 Hours and 1800 Hours on Wednesday (February 18, 2015) or Thursday (February 19, 2015) from the ‘green house’ dining area of the Lane Center. The investigation is continuing.
2/23/15 Damage to Property: Student reported damage to her vehicle which she observed on Friday February 20, 2015.According to the victim, she parked her 1998 Dodge Neon bearing MD registration in the Performing Arts Lot and when she returned she observed the side view mirror had been damaged. Photographs were taken of the damage.
2/23/15 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to Bowery St., Frostburg, to assist Frostburg City Police Dept. with a domestic fight in progress.
