Crime Line 2/25/2020 – 3/2/2020

02/25/2020 CDS – A vehicle was stopped due to the driver not being restrained by a seat-belt. Upon approach, a pungent odor of burnt marijuana was observed coming from the vehicle. As a result of the investigation, a judicial board referral was submitted.

02/25/2020 Suspicious – Officers were dispatched to the area of Pullen Hall in reference to a suspicious person being observed outside of the building taking photographs through the windows. Contact was made with the subject who explained he was taking photos for a class and had been experimenting with the different types of lighting and their effects within the building. After viewing the photos, the subject was advised that it was not a good idea to take photos through the windows of buildings, especially of offices.

02/26/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Assisted FPD in locating a subject on foot on Bowery Street. The subject, a non-FSU student, was arrested by FPD.

02/27/2020 Officer Stand-by – Officers responded to Pullen Hall to attempt to locate a subject (former student) making a disturbance in the Financial Aid Office and Billing Office. As a result of the investigation, officers gave him a temporary trespass notice until a formal letter of trespass can be drawn up and delivered from the University.

02/27/2020 Assist Other Agency – FSU and FPD officers responded to the Student Affairs Office to pick up a student for whom there was an active Arrest Warrant through FPD. He was taken into custody without incident.

02/28/2020 DOP – Misdemeanor – Officers responded to Edgewood Commons for student reportedly throwing things all over a room. As a result of the investigation, a Trespass notice was completed and a copy of the report was sent to the Offices of Title IX Student Affairs the student was referred to the Judicial Board.

02/28/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Officers were requested to respond to Spring Street for a suicidal subject who had reportedly locked herself in a bathroom within the residence. Upon arrival, FPD was speaking with the suicidal female, who is not a student, outside of the residence.

02/28/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Assisted FPD on Center Street and Mechanic Street with a motor vehicle crash.

03/01/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Officers responded to Hi-Way Pizza on East College for a report of a disorderly male, not an FSU student. FPD made contact with the subject and transported him to his residence due to his intoxicated state.

03/01/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – A female subject, not an FSU student, came into FSUPD stating that she needed police to respond to her residence on McCulloh Street. FPD was notified.

03/02/2020 Theft – Misdemeanor – Officers responded to the food court at Lane University Center for a reported theft. The investigation is continuing.
