3/1/18 Request for Officer: Officers responded to the State Street parking lot for a reported tampering with a motor vehicle complaint. He advised nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicle. Investigation continuing.
3/2/18 Hit & Run: Officers responded to Susan Eisel Drive to investigate a hit & run complaint. An FSUPD Traffic Accident Form was completed and both drivers exchanged insurance information. No injuries were reported.
3/3/18 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to Paul Street for a noise complaint. Student was given a warning that if the police had to return due to an additional complaint she would be cited.
3/3/2018 Information: Complainant reported she received information from another student of a theft that had occurred. Officers advised the complainant they would need to actually speak to the victim regarding the theft.
3/3/18 Assist Other Agency: Frostburg City Police requested assistance with traffic control for a funeral procession of fallen firefighter. Officers directed traffic on Main Street, Frostburg.
3/4/18 Dating Violence: Officers responded to the 1st floor of Frederick Hall for a report of a possible domestic disturbance. As a result of the investigation a judicial board referral was submitted. Title IX Coordinator, RLO and CAPS Office notified.
3/4/18 Destruction of Property: Officers conducting a premise check at Old Main observed a pane of glass in the right front door to be broken. As a result of the investigation and with help from the campus community a suspect was identified and was issued a MD Uniform Criminal Citation for malicious destruction of property less than $500.00. A judicial board referral was also submitted.
3/4/18 Drug Law Violation: Officers were dispatched to the 6th floor of Frederick Hall FSU for the odor of marijuana. As a result of the investigation two students were issued civil citations for possession of marijuana less than 10 grams and advised that they would also be reported to the judicial board.
3/4/18 Disturbance: Officers were dispatched to the main arena in the P.E Center for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation a student was advised that because of his unruliness the people in charge of the intramurals wanted him out. He agreed to leave. A judicial board referral was submitted.
3/5/18 Trespassing: The Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards contacted the police to advise that a student was trespassing in the S.A.F.E. office on campus. It was determined that the trespassing charge would be handled administratively through Student Affairs and no further police action/criminal charges would be pursued at this time.
3/5/18 Information: FSU student contacted police headquarters regarding a suspicious phone call. At the conclusion of the interview, the student did not wish for the police to contact anyone involved and felt as though the issue has been resolved. He reported that, after receiving the phone calls, he contacted his local police department in his hometown.
3/6/18 Suspicious: Officers responded to the area of the lower PE parking Lot by the tennis courts for a suspicious male wearing khakis and a jacket. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the subject who was identified, a non-student, who advised that he was supposed to meet his girlfriend but she did not show up.
3/6/18 Drug Law Violation: Officers were dispatched to the 2nd floor of Edgewood Commons for a reported odor of burnt marijuana complaint. As a result of the investigation a judicial board referral was submitted.
3/6/18 Drug Law Violation: Officers responded to the 2nd floor of Edgewood Commons for a CDS complaint. As a result of the investigation a judicial board referral submitted.
