3/22/2018 Request for Officer: Officers were dispatched to the Gravel Lot for a red Jeep Grand Cherokee with an open door. Officers responded and secured the door.
3/24/18 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to Bowery St. to assist Frostburg City Police with a possible breaking and entering in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that a burglary did not occur, rather it was a domestic assault. Frostburg City police handled the incident.
3/24/18 Assist Other Agency: A Sheetz employee advised there was a subject parked in their lot for several hours. Frostburg City Police were contact to investigate. FSUPD Officers provided backup during the investigation, no problems were observed.
3/24/18 Knock & Talk: Officers spoke with eight subjects about underage drinking and open containers at an E. College Avenue residence. In addition, they spoke with two individuals at the corner of Stoyer & Center Streets, Frostburg.
3/25/18 Assist Other Agency: At their request, officers responded to E. College Ave., Frostburg, to assist Frostburg City Police with an assault. Frostburg City Police took the suspect into custody without incident.
3/26/17 Destruction of Property: Officers responded to the first floor of the CCIT building in reference to a destruction of property complaint. Investigation revealed the television monitor attached to the north wall of the building located in the hallway between rooms 150 and 152 had been damaged. The screen was spider webbed, and it was believed that someone had taken their fist and punched the screen’s monitor. Investigation continuing.
3/27/18 Request for Officer: Officers responded to the first floor of Sowers Hall for an odor of marijuana. Officers detected a faint odor near the front entrance and checked the surrounding area without locating anything further.
3/27/18 Request For Officer: Caller reported a silver Jeep Wrangler parked in the rear of Cumberland Lot with a door hanging open. Officers responded and located the driver.
3/27/18 Community Policing: Officers conducted an interview with FSU students for their YouTube log of “darksideofthedonut.” Officers provided information about FSU Police and provided subscribers and viewers with a positive view of police officers by conversation over donuts and coffee.
