4/15/15 Administrative Paper Service: Officers served a Persona Non Grata (PNG) to the resident of a Park Lane Apt., in Frostburg.
4/15/15 Fire Drills: Officers were conducting a fire drill activity at Diehl Hall and while making sure that the 1st floor was clear of residents, they observed a male subject without a shirt or shoes on, in the hallway outside of room 124. He was screaming and stating that he was not leaving the building. Judicial Board Referral submitted.
4/15/15 Warrant Service For ACSO: A Cumberland Hall student was served a bench warrant through the Allegany County Sheriff’s office.
4/15/15 Warrant Service For ACSO: Officers served a bench warrant through the Allegany County Sheriff’s office on a Gray Hall student.
4/17/15 Information: The parent of a Cumberland Hall student reported he has been trying to reach his daughter since spring break. Officers were able to make contact with the student via her FSU email who advised she was ok and would contact her father.
4/17/15 Knock & Talk: Officers patrolling on Maple St., Frostburg observed approximately 15 students in the front yard of a Maple St. residence. They stopped and spoke with them about drinking responsibly and the city ordinances concerning alcohol laws.
4/17/15 Crime Prevention: Officer traveling on Paul St., Frostburg, observed a group of students in the area of a Paul St. residence. It appeared that students were going to a party at this location. Officers spoke with the students about drinking and advised about the city ordinances.
4/17/15 Disturbance: Officers responded to Gray Hall for a report of a verbal altercation in the first floor hallway. Both students agreed the incident was a misunderstanding and would stay away from each other for the evening. Resident Life Staff notified.
4/18/15 Disturbance: Officers assisted the Frostburg City Police while they were issuing municipal infraction citations in front of a Wood Street residence, Frostburg.
4/18/15 TIPS: FSUPD received a complaint on the TIPS line reporting a large party between Maple and Woods St. with no known address with approximately 50-100 kids. Contact was made with the residents who were advised of the complaint. Officers advised that there were no violations observed during the contact with the residents. Frostburg City Police were notified.
4/18/15 Knock & Talks: Officers performed a knock and talk at the F-Bar, Bowery St., Frostburg. They spoke with a few patrons of the bar.
4/18/15 Assist Other Agency: Frostburg City Police requested assistance at a Spring Street, residence. FSUP Officers stood by while approximately 50 patrons were leaving the party. No further action required by this agency.
4/18/15 Request For Officer: FSUP received a complaint of people throwing water balloons at cars at the corner of E. College Ave. and Beall St. Officers responded and met with a subject who advised that she and her friends were having a balloon fight and it got out of hand. Officers advised her that if police had to return that charges would be filed. No further problems were reported from this location.
4/18/15 Knock & Talks: Officers conducted Knock & Talks at Charles St., Bowery St., 127 Wood St., and American Avenue, Frostburg. Spoke about open container and underage drinking rules in Frostburg.
4/19/15 Assault/Dating Violence: Officers responded to Edgewood Commons for an argument in progress. As a result of the investigation officers then issued one civil citation for underage possession/consumption of alcohol. Judicial Board Referral submitted.
4/20/15 Peace Order Service: An Edgewood Commons student was served a Peace Order for his involvement of an assault that occurred on 4/20/15.
4/20/15 Assist Other Agency: Frostburg City Police requested officers respond to Sowers Hall, to locate a student who was involved in a theft incident. Contact was made with the student and officers stood-by while Frostburg City Police issued him a criminal citation for theft less than $100.00. No further police action taken by this agency.
4/20/15 Request For Officer: Officers were dispatched to the Guild parking lot for a traffic collision. No injuries were reported.
4/20/15 Alarm: Officers responded to the Appalachian Lab, 301 Braddock Rd, for an automatic alarm reporting an unauthorized entry into the building. Upon arrival, officers discovered a problem with the front door not closing properly. No further police action taken.
4/20/15 Drug Law Violation: Officers responded to Westminster Hall, for a CDS complaint. As a result of the investigation Charges are pending for possession of marijuana less/10 grams. Judicial referral submitted.
