05/01/2019 Request for Officer – Officers responded to CCIT for a disruptive female who was refusing to leave the classroom.  Subject was gone upon arrival.

05/02/2019 Community Policing – Officers attended National Law Day at Allegany College of Maryland.

 05/02/2019 Request for Officer – Officers responded to PE Lot for a car alarm.

05/02/2019 Parking Complaint – Headquarters received a complaint about a vehicle blocking other vehicles from flowing in and out of the gravel parking lot off Susan Eisel Drive.  Subject was issued a SERO for Window tint and was warned not to park in the gravel lot as he did not have a red permit.  Judicial referral completed.

05/02/2019 Theft – Misdemeanor– Student reported a theft of his clothes taken from the 5th floor dryer at Westminster Hall.

05/03/2019 Disturbance – While leaving headquarters Officers noticed a large group of people yelling at each other in the Frost Parking Lot.  Upon arrival the persons of interest were leaving the area.  Officers stayed on scene at Hi-Way Pizza to assist FPD for a verbal disturbance inside the establishment.

05/03/2019 Assist Other Agency – Assisted FPD on Broadway Street for a large crowd and a reported fight in progress.

05/03/2019 Damage to State Vehicle – While assisting FPD with the large crowd on Broadway Street a subject was arrested for jumping on the hood of a vehicle.

05/03/2019 Assist Other Agency – Assisted officers on Park Avenue for a front door left open.  Reported everything was fine.

05/03/2019 Assist Other Agency – Complaint regarding a pedestrian had been struck on Bowery Street and a related reported assault earlier on FSU campus. One subject transported to WMRMC.  Both agencies are assisting with the investigation.

05/03/2019 Alarm – Allegany County Dispatch advised of a trouble alarm at Edgewood Commons.

05/03/2019 Alarm- Allegany County Dispatch advised of a Trouble Alarm at CARI.

05/04/2019 Fire Alarm – Allegany County Dispatch notified FSUPD of a fire alarm at Westminster.  4th Floor Pull Station – One damaged extinguisher. Extinguisher was replaced.

05/04/2019 Assist Other Agency – Assisted FPD with a noise complaint on Paul Street

05/04/2019 Open Container – While patrolling Frost Lot, two females were observed walking on the sidewalk carrying beer glasses.  Both were issued civil citations for possession / consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a public place and referred to the FSU judicial process.

05/04/2019 – Hit and Run – Edgewood Lot – Complainant advised her car was hit while parked in the lot.  Ocularis System was reviewed.  Officers are attempting to identify the vehicle and its occupants.

05/04/2019 Alarm – Fire Alarm at Frost HallBurnt bacon on the stove in the first floor kitchen was the cause of the smoke.  Frostburg Fire Department checked the building and alarm was reset.

05/04/2019 Assist Other Agency – Assisted FPD with a complaint of 2 four wheelers and a dirt bike on the streets of Frostburg.  Contact was made with the subjects and they were advised to stay off roads.

05/04/2019 Assist Other Agency – Frostburg City Police requested back up officers for a reported disturbance at the pavilion/playground near the Frostburg Pool on Upper Consol Rd.  Officers made contact with the individual in charge of the event and explained the rental agreement and rules of the pavilion.

05/04/2019 Assist Other Agency – Officers assisted in shutting down large party at the pavilion by the Frostburg Pool. County and State also assisted.

05/04/2019 Traffic Arrest – While patrolling College Avenue at Maple Street, a female was observed carrying an alcoholic beverage and then throwing the can into a yard.  Three citations were issued to the subject

05/05/2019 Request for Officer – Officers responded to Allen Hall for an unattended vehicle blocking Safe Ride Vans.  Contact was made with the owner of the vehicle and the vehicle was moved.

05/06/2019 Request for Officer – Subject came into headquarters to report his vehicle was hit by another vehicle in the Edgewood Lot on 05/06/2019.  Both subjects made contact with each other and established no damages occurred. Both parties agreed. No police action was needed.

05/06/2019 CDS – While patrolling through Edgewood parking lot, an odor of CDS was detected.  As a result of investigation a probable cause search was conducted on a vehicle.  Brass knuckles were also recovered in the search resulting in criminal charges.

05/07/2019 Assist Other Agency   – Assisted MSP with serving a warrant on a student in Edgewood.

05/07/2019 Criminal Summons Served   – Criminal Summons served on a male student, related to possession of brass knuckles.
