9/10/14 Unregistered Keg: Officers traveling east on Charles Street at Wood Street, in a marked patrol vehicle, observed what appeared to be an unregistered keg on the walk way, along the side of 137 Wood Street. The keg was then returned to Lucky Liquors. Judicial Referral submitted.
9/11/14 Obstruction/Liquor Law Violation: Officers responded to Old Main for a report of an unconscious male subject, lying on the ground. Following investigation a student subject was issued a civil citation for underage consumption of alcohol. The subject failed to provide his correct name and identification as such he was criminally charged for Obstructing & Hindering an investigation. Judicial Referral submitted.
9/12/14 Hit & Run: Student reported her car suffered some damage while parked in the PE Lot on 9-11-14.
9/12/14 Knock & Talks: Officers spoke with students about consumption of alcohol and safety at Maple, Bowery, Center, Wood, and Hill Street.
9/12/14 Assist Other Agency: Officers on stationary patrol at the intersection of College Avenue and Bowery Street noticed a traffic accident had occurred. FPD arrived and handled the investigation.
9/12/14 TIPS: Caller on the TIPS line reported a large party at 167 Maple Street. Frostburg City Police were notified. Officers responded to the area and provided back-up.
9/12/14 Assist Other Agency: Officers assisted Frostburg City Police with a noise compliant at 110 S. Broadway. Contact was made with the residents of apartment F and they were advised to keep the noise down. All occupants were very respectful and they complied.
9/13/14 Liquor Law Violation: Officers issued one civil citation for possession/consumption of an alcoholic beverage under the age of 21 years old on Maple Street.
9/13/14 Liquor Law Violation: Officers were dispatched to Westminster Hall, room 402, for a report of an intoxicated female. Subject was issued a civil citation for possession/consumption of an alcoholic beverage under the age of 21 years old. Judicial Board referral submitted.
9/13/14 Knock & Talk: Officers spoke with students at 144 Bowery Street and 154 Center Street.
9/13/14 Liquor Law Violation: Officers on patrol issued civil citations to two individuals on Center Street.
9/13/14 Drug Law Violation: Officers were dispatched to 213 Cumberland Hall for a report of an odor of suspected marijuana. As a result of the investigation several individuals were charged with criminal violations of controlled dangerous substance violations involving marihuana and paraphernalia. They will also be referred to the Judicial Board for violations of FSUI policy.
9/13/14 Knock & Talks: Officers spoke with the residents at 121 Wood Street about underage consumption of alcohol.
9/13/14 Assist Other Agency: Officers assisted the Frostburg City Police with a noise complaint on Broadway St. Noise was unfounded.
9/14/14 Knock & Talk: Officers spoke with several students on Charles and Wood Street.
9/14/14 Assist Other Agency: Officers Assisted FPD with an assault investigation at 157 Bowery Street. FPD is conducting the investigation.
9/14/14 Assist Other Agency: Officers assisted Frostburg City Police at the F-Bar, Bowery Street, with a protective order violation.
9/14/14 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to 129 Wood Street to assist Frostburg City Police with breaking up a large party. University Officers conducted crowd contract and made sure the party broke up smoothly.
9/14/14 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to a fight in progress at Bobcat Court, apartment 5. When officers arrived, a search of the area was conducted no fight was located.
9/14/14 Request for Officer: Officers were dispatched to the rear of Westminster Hall, for a report of a possible odor of marijuana. Nothing was located.
9/15/14 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to the intersection of Grant Street and Mechanic Street to assist Frostburg City Police with a traffic stop.
9/16/14 Alarm: Officers responded to the Appalachian Lab, 301 Braddock Road, for an automatic alarm reporting an unauthorized entry. Upon arrival, officers observed several people still working. It was discovered the door was opened for prolonged period and set off alarm. Scene Cleared.
9/16/14 Request for Officer: Officers responded to the Help Desk in the CCIT building to retrieve a UMUC laptop.
9/16/14 Animal Complaint: Officers made contact with two students who advised a skunk appeared to be limping or dragging its back legs near the Guild Center. Officers searched the area. It appeared the animal went into the storm drain. Scene cleared.
9/17/14 Theft: Officers were dispatched to Cambridge Hall, room 635 for a picture frame that was missing. Investigation continues.
