09/25/2019 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Assisted FPD on Mechanic Street with an unconscious subject. Subject was not an FSU student.
09/25/2019 Assist Other Agency –Assisted FPD in Bobcat court attempting to talk to subjects regarding information on large crowd on 9/22/2019.
09/25/2019 Request for Officer – Officers were requested to Edgewood for an odor of CDS. A Judicial Board referral was made.
09/25/2019 Trespassing – Officers were dispatched to Edgewood Commons for a report of a male subject who was not permitted to be in the building or on the campus of FSU. Officers placed the individual under arrest and a Judicial Board referral was made.
09/25/2019 Tampering with Motor Vehicle – While on patrol in Diehl Lot, Officers approached the patrol car to find a glass bottle tucked neatly and tightly under the back rear driver side tire. Viewing the Ocularis Camera System, it could be seen that a male subject specifically placed the bottle in that position. As a result of the investigation Judicial Referral was made.
09/26/2019 Hit and Run – Subject came into headquarters to report her vehicle was struck by another vehicle on Environmental Drive. Footage on the Ocularis camera system was reviewed and a subject was located. The driver of the hit and run vehicle was issued 3 citations and referred to the Judicial Board.
09/26/2019 Harassment – Officers responded to Hitchins for a report of harassment. Contact was made with the accused subject who was advised to not have any contact with the complainant. A Judicial Referral was submitted.
09/26/2019 Theft – It was reported that a ladder had been stolen from the Frederick Hall elevator equipment room. Surveillance footage was reviewed for the times in question. At no point can a green ladder be seen being carried out of the hall. The investigation is continuing.
09/27/2019 Request for Officer – Officers responded to the Public Safety Lot for a possible hit & run thought to have occurred in the State Street Lot. Upon reviewing the Ocularis Camera System, the complainant’s vehicle was not observed making contact with any other vehicles. Complainant was advised of the findings.
09/28/2019 Request for Officer – Officers responded to Westminster Hall for a complaint of a CDS odor outside. Upon arrival and patrol of the area no odor could be detected.
09/28/2019 Public Urination- While patrolling the Edgewood Commons parking lot a male subject was observed urinating on the Corner of the building. The subject was referred to the Judicial Board.
09/28/2019 Disturbance – While in the Veteran’s Center Lot, Officers made contact with a male subject who was yelling at several other students in the third window of the stairwell upon leaving Grey Hall. A Judicial Board referral was submitted.
09/30/2019 Alarm – Audible alarm sounded at Pullen Hall –Dispatch advised it was set off by contractors working in the basement.
09/30/2019 Traffic Accident – University Police Lot – Vehicle backed into another. No Injuries. Motorists were provided an accident exchange form.
09/30/2019 Request for Officer – A student met with Officers to report harassment by another student over photos that were taken. The matter forwarded to the Judicial Board for review.
09/30/2019 Damage to Property – Officers responded to Lane Center for a report of damaged property. Second Floor men’s restroom for a broken toilet paper dispenser. Suspect’s photo was sent out over the University e-mail system for help with identification. The investigation is ongoing.
09/30/2019 Reckless Endangerment– Officers responded to Annapolis Hall for a report of an odor of smoke. Upon investigation, an ashy paper material was located throughout the first floor hallway, approximately 43 feet of ash trail. Fire Marshall was contacted and is the handling the investigation and will be issuing charges. The investigation is continuing. A Judicial Board referral was submitted.
10/01/2019 Disturbance /CDS – While on patrol a disturbance could be heard coming from Diehl Hall. After performing a foot patrol of Diehl Hall Officers were unable to locate any disturbance. However, while inside the building an odor of burnt marijuana could be detected on the second floor. The source could not be pinpointed.
10/01/2019 Skateboard Complaint – Officers observed an individual riding a skateboard in the Performing Arts Center Lot. Contact was made. The subject, an FSU student, was advised that skateboarding on campus was prohibited. Subject agreed to stop riding.
