Crime Line 9/26 – 10/2

09/26/2018 CDS – Officers responded to Frederick Hall for an odor of CDS. As a result of the investigation charges were preferred, and a judicial board referral was submitted.

09/26/2018 Harassment – An officer responded to a call for possible harassment of a faculty member.  Student Affairs was notified of the subject’s behavior and a Judicial Board referral was submitted.

09/26/2018 CDS – Officers dispatched to Diehl Hall for a CDS odor.  As a result of the investigation the occupants of the room were referred to the judicial board.

09/27/2018 CDS – Officers responded to Diehl Hall for an odor of CDS. As a result of the investigation a judicial board referral was submitted.

09/27/2018 Assist other Agency – Assisted FPD with a residential alarm.

09/27/2018 Suspicious – Officers responded to the west side of Dunkle Hall in reference to a suspicious white Honda Accord that was parked and unattended with the front door open.  After contact was made with the owner of the vehicle it was determined the owner forgot to close the door to the vehicle before entering Dunkle Hall.

09/28/2018 Information – Officers responded to Cumberland Hall regarding a disturbance.   The disturbance was between 8-10 individuals regarding a previously reported sexual assault.

 

09/28/2018 Traffic Accident – Upon arrival at the Upper Pullen Parking Lot officers found three vehicles involved in a traffic accident.  Video footage and witness information was obtained.  An exchange of information was completed.

 

09/28/2018 CDS – A call came into HQ for a CDS complaint at Cumberland Hall.  A faint smell was detected on the 2nd floor but the source was unable to be pinpointed.

 

09/28/2018 Knock and Talk – Officers spoke to a resident of Bowery Street regarding underage drinking, loud noise, and open containers.

 

09/28/2018 Assist other Agency – FSUPD responded to assist with an automobile accident.  FPD arrived on scene and handled the call.

 

09/28/2018 CDS – FSUPD received a call regarding of an odor of CDS on the first floor of Frost Hall.  As a result of the investigation charges were preferred and a judicial referral was made.

 

09/29/2018 Traffic Arrest – A traffic stop was initiated on Center Street on a vehicle with one only operational headlight.  The driver was charged with driving on a suspended license.

 

09/29/2018 Assist other Agency – FSUPD responded to the area of Hill Street and Oak Street to assist the Frostburg Police Department with a foot chase.  Upon arrival, the two subjects involved in the chase had already been apprehended.

 

09/30/2018 Assault – Subject walked into Police Headquarter to report he had been assaulted after a flag football game.  Subject was given the MD Victim’s Rights pamphlet and was informed on the procedure to pursue charges through the District Court.  The investigation is continuing.

 

10/01/2018  Assist Other Agency – Assisted Frostburg City on Paul Street with a disturbance between two roommates.  Subjects were separated and interviewed.  The dispute was over a Comcast bill.  Parties were informed that is was a civil dispute.

 

10/02/2018 Request for Officer – Subject contacted HQ regarding her roommate’s ex-boyfriend sitting in the Edgewood Lot.  Subject was not invited and was attempting to make contact with the roommate who does not want any contact with subject.  Upon officer’s request to leave, the subject complied and left peacefully.

 

10/02/2018 Traffic Accident – Officers responded to Edgewood Lot for a traffic accident. Vehicle owners exchanged information.  Photographs of the damage were taken for the file.

 

10/02/2018 CDS – Officers were called to Sowers Hall for a CDS complaint.  A faint odor was detected upon entering the second floor however the source could not be located.

 

10/02/2018 CDS – Officers responded to Edgewood Commons for a CDS odor. As a result of the investigation one Civil Citation was issued and a judicial referral was submitted.
