Crime Line 9/4 – 9/10

09/04/2019  Sex Offense –  C3I Investigation is continuing

 

09/04/2019  CDS –  Officers respond to Frederick Hall for a CDS complaint.   As a result of the investigation a judicial referral has been submitted.

 

09/04/2019  Request for Officer – Contact was made with an employee in the Library parking lot who advised someone had damaged her vehicle.

 

09/04/2019  CDS –  Officers responded to Frederick Hall for an odor of CDS. Officers were unable to detect any odor.

 

09/04/2019  Request for Officer – A natural gas odor was reported between Frampton and the Old Public Safety Building. The intermittent odor of natural gas was consistent with a gas line relief valve which was likely functioning properly.  Columbia Gas will be checking the area on the following day, as they have been working on campus.

 

09/04/2019  Harassment – Officers spoke with a subject about being harassed.   Female subject advised she was being harassed by a subject on FSU Campus.  The investigation is continuing.

 

09/04/2019  Assist Other Agency – (FPD) Officers stood by at Grant and Main to assist FPD on a traffic stop.

 

09/05/2019  Assault/Dating Violence –  Officers responded to a disturbance in the rear of Annapolis Hall between two individuals.  Interviews were conducted and information was forwarded to Title IX and Student Affairs.  The victim denied being assaulted.

 

09/05/2019  CDS  – Officers responded to Frederick hall for an odor of marijuana.  As a result of the investigation information was provided to Residence Life staff.

 

09/05/2019  Traffic Accident – Upper Pullen Lot – While two vehicles were backing out of parking spaces, they backed into each other. There were no injuries. Pictures were taken and Traffic Accident information forms were exchanged.

 

09/05/2019  Assist Other Agency (FPD) Officers were dispatched to  Main Street for an assist  with disorderly subjects,  two of which were under arrest. FSU assisted without incident.  The arrestees were not FSU students.  

 

09/06/2019  Hit & Run –  Edgewood Commons – Officers responded the rear parking lot of the Edgewood Commons Apartments for a reported hit and run.  The striking vehicle and operator were identified and Motor vehicle crash information forms were exchanged, a Judicial Board Referral was submitted. At the request of the victim no charges were preferred.

 

 

09/07/2019  Assist Other Agency (FPD)  FPD Dispatch notified Headquarters of an intoxicated subject with a broken collar bone between Gray and Diehl Hall.  University Police Officers located the subject and FPD responded to investigate as the injury reportedly occurred during an assault at a party off campus.  Subject was transported to WMRMC for an evaluation.

 

09/07/2019  Assist Other Agency (FPD)  Officers responded to Bowery Street to assist FPD with a large party – noise disturbance complaint.  Officers stood by while subjects left the house.

 

09/07/2019  Assist Other Agency (FPD)  Assisted with traffic control as FPD investigated a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Center Street and E. College Avenue. Officers remained on scene until both vehicles involved were removed from the scene.

 

09/08/2019  Assist Other Agency (FPD)  Officers responded to Center Street to assist the FPD with a noise complainant.  Upon arrival, a large group of individuals were dispersing the area. Officers stood by until the area was cleared.

 

09/09/2019  DOP-Misdemeanor – Officers were dispatched to Annapolis Hall for a report of a destruction of property.  The 3rd floor stairway door glass was shattered from the hallway into the stairway. Anyone with information as to how the damage occurred is requested to contact FSUPD and may report anonymously.

 

09/10/2019  Assist Other Agency  –  Assisted FPD with a lookout for a missing 14yr. old.  Subject was found by FPD.

 

09/10/2019  Hit and Run – Student came into Headquarters to advise her vehicle was hit in the Frampton Lot. The driver was located and an insurance information exchange was completed.

 

Summary period includes 200 calls for service and 11 traffic stops
