Crime Lines 11/23/2021 – 11/29/2021

11/23/2021 Hit & Run – Officers responded to the fire lane in front of Brownsville for a possible hit and run accident. The driver of the suspect vehicle was identified and came to FSUPD headquarters to provide his information. Vehicle exchange forms were completed. A Judicial Board referral was submitted.

11/26/2021 Damage to State Vehicle – FSU vehicle was involved in a traffic crash at the intersection of Greene Street and Johnson Street in Cumberland, MD. Cumberland City Police investigated, no injuries were reported.

11/28/2021 Tips – Anonymous female called TIPS to report people smoking marijuana on the sixth floor but did not say which dorm. Officers checked Westminster, Frederick, and Brownsville and no odor was detected in those areas.

11/29/2021 Request for Officer – Officers responded to Annapolis Hall at the request of an RA to confiscate a kitchen knife that was over 3 inches in length in violation of FSU policy. Contact was made with the FSU student, owner of the knife, who advised she used her knife for cooking. The knife was retrieved and placed into property. The knife can be retrieved when the student leaves for winter break.

Summary period includes 103 calls for service and 1 traffic stop.
