Crime Lines 2/18/2020 – 2/24/2020

02/18/2020 CDS – Officers responded to Sowers Hall for a report of CDS odor.  As a result of the investigation, two students were referred to the Judicial Board.

02/18/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Officers responded to a Maple Street address to assist FPD with an intoxicated male (not a student) attempting to harm himself.

02/19/2020 CDS –  While conducting a foot patrol at Diehl Hall, officers detected an odor of marijuana in the first-floor hallway. As a result of the investigation, a J-Board referral was submitted.

02/20/2020 Criminal Summons Served – A criminal summons was served on a student at Annapolis Hall for a CDS violation.

02/20/2020 Noise Complaint – Officers responded to Upper Lot of Edgewood for a noise complaint.  Upon arrival, there was no noise in the area.

02/21/2020 Destruction of Property – Misdemeanor – Officers responded to Dunkle Hall for a report of door slats kicked in on the bottom of a door. Reports show this is the third incident of the slats being kicked in. The investigation continues.

02/21/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) Assisted – Frostburg Police Department with a disturbance complaint. Subjects were non-students.

02/21/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Officers responded to Maple Place for a reported domestic disturbance in progress.  Subjects were non-students.

02/21/2020 CDS – Officers responded to Diehl Hall for reports of the odor of CDS.  As a result of the investigation, a Judicial Board Referral was submitted

02/22/2020 CDS – Officers responded to Simpson Hall for a report of the odor of CDS.  After a walk through was conducted, officers were unable to pinpoint the origin of the faint odor.

02/22/2020 DWI – A black F-150 was stopped after the officer observed it traveling at a high rate of speed on Center Street and failing to stop at stop signs.  The driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol.  The subject was transported to FSUPD and received his citations and paperwork before being released.

02/22/2020 Disturbance – While on patrol, officers overheard two individuals at the corner of Beall Street and College Avenue arguing.  After several minutes, the argument became more heated.  The two (FSU Students) were separated and agreed to stay away from each other for the evening.

02/23/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – A student who had been the victim of an assault in the city came to FSUPD to report the incident. EMS was requested due to possible head trauma and the student was transported to UPMC/WMD. He will be following up with FPD upon his return.

02/24/2020 Theft – Misdemeanor – Officers responded to the Lane University Center FSU Appalachian Station Food Court in reference to a theft.  As a result of the investigation, a   J-Board referral submitted.

02/24/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – A female officer was requested to perform a search of two (2) females that were being detained.
