Crime Lines 3/03/2020 – 3/09/2020

03/04/2020 Request for Officer – Officers responded to Pullen Hall for CDS found in the women’s restroom. The plastic baggie which contained CDS was tested and was negative for CDS.

03/04/2020 Request for Officer – Officers met with a student at headquarters regarding a harassment complaint. Upon interviewing the subject, she advised she did not feel threatened and did not feel in danger. As a result of the investigation, a J-Board referral was submitted.

03/04/2020 Vandalism – Officers responded to the lobby area of police headquarters for a vandalism complaint. Upon arrival. Contact was made with a female student who advised her vehicle was vandalized while parked in the Annapolis Lot. A review of the video system was performed however there are no suspects at this time.

03/04/2020 CDS – Officers responded to Frost Hall for a CDS Complaint. Upon arrival, a slight odor of marijuana was detected by officers. The source of the odor of marijuana could not be located.

03/05/2020 Breaking and Enter – Officers were dispatched to Edgewood for a report of a subject trying to gain entry into a residence. Investigation revealed there was no intent to commit a crime but rather the activity was a prank. As a result, a Judicial Referral was submitted.

03/06/2020 Theft – Misdemeanor – Officers responded to Appalachian Station for a reported theft. Upon arrival officers spoke with the complainant who advised a male subject placed food in his backpack, did not pay for the items and left the store. Camera footage was reviewed. A “Help Identify” email was sent out to FSU faculty, staff and students.

03/06/2020 Assist Other Agency – (FPD) Assisted FPD on Oak Street with a disturbance. FSU stood by while FPD conducted their interview

03/06/2020 Missing Person – Officers responded to Fuller House for a report of a possible missing student. On 3/7/2020 Subject in question made contact with FSU to advise she was ok and advised she left school as she is returning home.

03/06/2020 Assault – Officers responded to Annapolis Hall for a disturbance between two FSU students. Upon arrival, officers observed signs of a physical assault. After interviews of several parties, both students were arrested for assault. A Referral to the Judicial Board was submitted and Resident Life was made aware of the altercation, the parties were both moved from their original dorm room.

03/06/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – FSUPD responded to Spring Street for a disturbance. FSUPD stood by while FPD cleared the house and issued the property renter, who is an FSU student, a citation.

03/07/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Assisted FPD on Bowery Street for a noise complaint. FSUPD stood by as FPD spoke to residents about the noise level.

03/08/2020 Tampering with a M/V – Officers responded to the lobby of police headquarters to take a report of tampering with a motor vehicle from a student. The complainant wished to have the incident documented for future reference and not to have any charges issued.

Summary period includes 161 calls for service and 14 Traffic Stops
