Crime Lines 4/14/2020 – 4/20/2020

04/14/2020  Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Assisted FPD on Spring Street with a disturbance.  A female subject was arguing with her ex-boyfriend and wished to have her belongings returned.  The male complied and the parties were informed to separate for the night. No FSU students were involved.

04/16/2020  Assist Other Agency (FPD) –  Assisted FPD by holding an intoxicated subject, non-student, in FSUPD’s cell.  The subject was eventually transported to UPMC.  An emergency petition was completed by FPD due to suicidal statements made while in holding cell.

04/18/2020  Suspicious  – While conducting a premise check of the Appalachian Lab, a dark color Toyota was observed with the interior dash lights illuminated.  After approaching the vehicle, it was found to be occupied three times.  Contact was made with the female operator.  After a confirmed negative warrant check, the subject advised the subject were traveling to Pittsburgh, PA and stopped to take a rest.  They stopped in the first empty parking lot they found.  They advised they would leave the area. 

04/19/2020  Request for Officer – Headquarters received an anonymous call advising that there were people on the football field playing soccer and riding bikes around the track and also that no one had masks on.  Officers responded and determined all were following the CDC guidelines.

The summary period includes 99 calls for service and no traffic stops.
