Frostburg State Cross Country Takes on the 18th Annual Lock Haven Invite

The Frostburg State men’s and women’s cross country teams traveled to Lock Haven, PA to compete in the 18th Annual Lock Haven Invite on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The men’s team placed 22nd out of 31 teams, competing with 373 runners total. They competed in an 8k (4.97 miles).

Bobcat junior Braxton Clark took 44th place after crossing the finish line in 26:32.6, followed by senior Jacob Rickards who took 122nd place in 27:44.5. First-year Daniel Foster followed closely behind in 125th place in 27:47.1.

Senior Lorenzo Wilson took 198th place in 28:46.2, followed by junior Devin Horseman-Guy at 234th place in 29:19.8, and senior TimothyWolodkin at 245th place in 29:37.4.

Sophomore Brennen Tomassoni took 275th place right over the thirty-minute mark at 30:28.8. Bobcats Jack Bullen placed 287th in 31:05.9, with first-year Jaydon Morley coming in 331st place in 32:45.2 to conclude the meet.

FSU’s women’s team featured two runners in the 6k course (3.73 miles), competing against 404 runners.

Sophomore Natalie Gray placed 372nd overall in 30:00.3. First-year Isabel Pereira followed behind in 377th place in 30:31.9.

The Bobcat cross country teams will compete at the Don Cathcart Invitational at Salisbury University on Saturday, Oct. 5t at 9:45 a.m.
