Frostburg’s Volleyball Team Final Game

On Thursday, November 11th, Frostburg State University’s (FSU) Volleyball team traveled to Fairmont State University for their final game of the season.

The Bobcats were led by freshman AJ Thompson, sophomore Beverly Braun, and senior Haley Altemus. Braun led Frostburg with all five kills. Red-shirt sophomore, Haley Delor, had fourteen assists, and junior Bianca Smalls and Braun both carried Frostburg with nine digs. Unfortunately, the Bobcats lost three to zero bringing them to a final record of nine wins to nineteen losses.

Fairmont State gained another win for their twenty-one-game record with nine losses. The Bobcats have ended their regular season, but now await to see if they gain a spot in the MEC tournament. The determining factor is the progression of other teams in the Southern Division.
