FSU Announces Forums to Discuss Ongoing Presidential Search
Frostburg State University has announced that two forums will be held on Thursday, September 17 for students, faculty, and staff to give input to FSU’s presidential search and screening committee.
The forums will be held in room 111 in the Lane University Center. A morning forum will be held from 10:00am – 11:30am and an afternoon forum will be held from 2:00pm – 3:30pm.
At the forums, the presidential search committee, along with the Lochlin Partners search firm, will provide a timeline of the presidential search. The campus community will have opportunities to ask questions about the process and to discuss the challenges the next president will face.
Pat Friel, an FSU alum, is leading Lochlin’s executive search tam.
FSU’s presidency was previously held by Dr. Jonathan Gibralter, who is now serving as the president of Wells College. Dr. Tom Bowling began his tenure as interim-president on July 1, 2015.
