Happy Homecoming, Bobcats!

Your Guide to Homecoming Week Activities on Campus

It’s Homecoming week, Bobcats! A time when past and present students gather to celebrate being a part of the Frostburg State University community. Much like all other facets of life throughout the last 18 months, Homecoming was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic last year. With the majority of our campus community fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or being tested regularly through our on campus testing facility, the exciting atmosphere of school pride has made its way back to our campus.

The Student Homecoming Committee and Alumni Relations Office have worked tirelessly throughout the summer and early fall semester to organize activities for students, faculty, staff, and alumni alike to enjoy and participate in this week. Here’s your guide to navigating this exciting and fun-filled week:

Monday 10/11 – Scheduled originally for Tuesday evening, due to inclement weather, the pool party was rescheduled for Monday night in the Cordts PE Center from 8PM-10PM. Students came out and participated in pool games, floated around in the water, raced, and showed off their diving skills.

Tuesday 10/12 – Make your way to the Clocktower Quad/Delaney Plaza from 2PM to 5PM Tuesday afternoon for tie-dyeing. Be one of the first 100 to attend and you’ll receive a free t-shirt!

Wednesday 10/13 – Love plants, but haven’t had the opportunity to get your own? Now’s your chance! Meet the Student Homecoming Committee in Echo Circle from 1PM to 4PM on Wednesday and plant a succulent for your room!

Thursday 10/14 – Bring your school spirit and Bobcat Pride to the Main Gym in Cordts PE Center from 7PM to 9PM for the Pep Rally and Student Showcase! Enjoy performances from campus organizations, talented students, and more.

Friday 10/15 – Head to ARMAH in the Lane Center for a campus showing of the movie “Bring It On” beginning at 8PM!

Saturday 10/16 – Happy Homecoming! Get ready for a jam-packed day. Join students, alumni, and the like in the Stadium Lot for tailgating before the game begins. Tailgating starts at 10AM and the Corn Hole Tournament begins at 11:30! Kick-off for the Bobcats v. Wheeling Cardinals game starts at 2PM in the Bobcat Stadium. Join members past and present of student organizations on campus for the All-Alumni Reunion following the game in ARMAH, beginning at 5PM.

Sunday 10/17 – Whew, what a weekend! Join the Student Government Association and participating student organizations for the annual Big Event community clean-up, which starts at 12 PM.

Have a great week, Bobcats! TBL wishes you an exciting, safe, and fun Homecoming week!

I acquired more interesting things on this fat loss issue. One issue is that good nutrition is especially vital while dieting. A huge reduction in fast foods, sugary foodstuff, fried foods, sweet foods, pork, and white-colored flour products may be necessary. Keeping wastes unwanted organisms, and poisons may prevent targets for fat loss. While selected drugs quickly solve the matter, the nasty side effects are usually not worth it, and in addition they never give more than a non permanent solution. It is a known fact that 95 of fad diets fail. Thanks for sharing your ideas on this site.
