Heartfelt Goodbye and Words to Consider

You’re Church

I give you the best Salute

My life could never be the same.

You had the best expectations,

The greatest confidence,

To speak your name is to sing,

Love.

What type of love?

Nothing that can be measured,

Even after seven months of waiting

It is still here.

I see the garden,

Grandma, tending to flowers

Mom and Dad watching time sneak past.

Me and my brother fighting,

Again

My sister crying, it’s a baby thing.

You in the blue,

Glider.

Taking the roof off, to fit the world’s razor.

I always wanted to go.

I was never big enough, or tall enough,

Strong, or mature.

That’s what everyone said, but not

You.

Such cooling life, every summer.

Hugs full of sugar,

They could give us energy for days.

My heart was so full.

Hell, no matter what some think, its still full.

(I’m gonna get by when the going get rough)

I can see the silhouettes, of me trying to catch him,

And you were there with grandma telling him to slow down.

Brothers don’t leave each other, they help

I followed him because I wanted to be him,

Just like I wanted to be you.

(Gonna love life until I’m done growing up)

I miss you so much

Your voice still rings clear, like music blasting through,

My soul.

(When I’m goin down, I”mma go down swingin’)

She left me without a word,

You left without a sound.

Couples, always gotta be similar.

(My eyes still smilin’ and my heart still singin’)

I heard with my feet,

Listened with my hands,

Learned through the grass.

See she left in a gold trimmed Cadillac,

But you left out in your Blue Glider.

The Glider, can’t nothing touch it,

The architect.

Life stopped, the stars stopped,

God cried, the Devil cried.

Mother nature open her arms to you.

I sat in your seat,

I don’t fall, or roll

But I see what used to be Eden.

The caretaker is gone, and so is the magic.

Church, I don’t go.

Not me.

After looking up to you,

Chasing you.

(Why are you always running?)

I’m trying to catch a sight

A light.

I sit by the phone everyday,

Waiting to hear heaven on the other end,

Each day is a disappointment.

The best things fade and disappear,

If they didn’t they wouldn’t be so special.

I give a kiss to thee,

To the south, from where he came

To the north where he reigned.

We said 100 but we settled for 90

Cant beat that,

Give grandma a hug for me.

Church, I don’t need that.

They bring be people peace and clarity,

You brought that to me.

So I guess that makes you…

Well I guess is pretty clear what you are to me.

Stronger

I’m more than they thought,

Less than I except.

Strength to move forward

Try and try it crept on me,

Coward.

Pray for me, sing for me,

We all need a hero.

We look to the sky,

Left, right, every but where we should.

In front, its you, me, we, us.

Cowards look for something else.

Leaders, rulers,

Only need to try harder, become stronger.

Tell the world to sit down,

I’m here, so be humble

Or

Crumble.
