January 29 – January 31

1/29/14 – Alarm: Allegany County Dispatch (911) reported a trouble alarm at the Language Center, 150 Park Street. Officers responded and determined the fire panel showing malfunction in the system. Alarm was reset. Facilities notified.
1/29/14 – Assault: Frederick Hall student reported she left the Cordts P.E. Center alone to return to Frederick Hall. While walking west on Stadium Drive in the area of the library, she reports an unknown assailant approached her from the rear and placed an arm around her waist. She immediately turned around and observed a male subject, approximately 5’6 , dressed in a black (hoody) sweatshirt with the hood covering his head. Without saying anything, he ran off toward the Lane Center. No further details were provided. While the complainant was at the police department, officers checked the area of the P.E. and Lane Center for anyone who may fit the description. No one was located. Student stated she had no injuries at the time of the complaint. The investigation is continuing.
1/30/14 – Assist Other Agency: Officers assisted the Frostburg City Police with a traffic stop on Bowery St. at American Ave.
1/30/14 – Drug Law Violation: Officers were dispatched to Cumberland Hall for a report of an odor of marijuana. As a result of the investigation all subjects present in the room were advised that they would be receiving a Judicial Board referral for the incident. Resident Assistant was advised of the incident upon officers clearing the room.
01/31/2014 – Warrant Service: Officers attempted to serve a warrant on a male subject who lived at 208 Lower Consel road apartments, Apt. E. The male was taken into custody and transported back to headquarters where the Allegany County Sheriff’s office came to pick him up. He was then transported to the commissioner’s office.
01/31/2014 – CDS: Officers attempted to serve a warrant at a Lower Consul Road Apt. as a result CDS and paraphernalia were recovered.
01/31/2014 – CDS: Officers went to Bobcat Court for a consent search of a residence. One criminal citation for possession of paraphernalia was issued.
01/31/2014 – CDS: Officers were dispatched to Cambridge Hall at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, for a report of an odor of marijuana.
01/31/2014 – Alcohol Violation: Officers were dispatched to Cumberland Hall for an odor of marijuana. During the investigation, no CDS was located. However, one alcohol citation was issued.
01/31/2014 – Unregistered Keg: Officers issued a civil citation for possession of an unregistered keg as a result of a traffic stop in Frostburg.
01/31/2014 – CDS: Officers were dispatched to Edgewood Commons for a report of an odor of marijuana in the residence. Judicial Board referral submitted.
