Late@Lane: Haunted House

IMG_0528 Walking into Lane Friday night, it truly encompassed the energy of Spooktober. Late@Lane: Haunted House took place on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m., the perfect end to a long week. Students were able to enjoy this event, created by UPC and the Student Activities department, for free, and everyone who attended was entered into a raffle for a Megan Thee Stallion concert ticket and a Meet and Greet Pass for the same concert. However, if the raffle alone was attendees’ priority, once they saw the decorations and all the types of free food and souvenirs, they were bound to have stayed. Lane was decorated to the max with lights and cobwebs, caution signs, and bloody hospital gowns, all immersing you into the haunted house feel. All around there were buffet lines for free food: rice crispy fangs, mac and cheese guts, nachos and more, andIMG_0539 activities all throughout ARMAH. You could customize your own Terror Hall Late@Lane mug, make a wax mold of your hand, take free photo booth pictures, and attempt a ride on the bucking mechanical Jack o’Lantern. In the Atkinson Room, there was also a screening of the movie Us, to get you cinematically spooked before going downstairs and walking through Terror Hall, becoming terrified from the morphsuit mummy, the spider room, a room set for a feast where you’re the meal, and much more.
