Men’s Soccer Final Game of the Season

Frostburg Men’s soccer played their last game of the season on Wednesday, November 10th, losing to Davis & Elkins (D&E) 4-1 in the Mountain East Conference (MEC) Tournament.

The first half was an uphill battle for the Bobcats as they were scored on twice within the first 20 minutes of the game by D&E. But, the Bobcats did not give up as they had at least 3 shots on goal. Leaving the first half, D&E led 2-0.

In the second half, Frostburg continued to fight and put up a goal in the first minute. Frostburg received a penalty in the box and midfielder Daniel Juresic scored making it 2-1. Unfortunately, D&E answered, scoring 20 minutes later making it 3-1. D&E then scored again to finish the game, making the final score 4-1 D&E winning. D&E will be attending the MEC Tournament finals.

The overall record of Frostburg men’s soccer was 8-9-1 as they end their season.
