Men’s Soccer Looks Forward to Game Against Notre Dame

At Frostburg State University, the Men’s Soccer team has a record of 2 wins and 2 losses (2-2). The Bobcats currently sit in fifth place in the Mountain East conference. 

Their first game of the season ended in a big upset for the men, losing 8-0 against the defending Mountain East conference and National champions, Charleston. 

The men’s team earned their first win of the season, at Bobcat Stadium against Wheeling 2-0. Goals we scored by sophomore Tamino Brown and junior Vaughn Phillips. 

They traveled to play at Beckley, West Virginia to play Concord.. Unfortunately they lost 1- 0 in a well-fought game. Concord scored in the first half, and Frostburg could not come back from the one goal difference.

In their latest match, the Bobcats pulled out with a win when they traveled to play Alderson Broaddus. They won with a score of 3-1 with goals by senior Will Macomber and two goals for junior Daniel Juresic. The two goals for Juresic landed him Mountain East Conference Player of the Week. 

The Bobcats will travel to South Euclid, Ohio on Sunday, March 28th to take on 2-1 Notre Dame who sit in third place in the conference.
