Police Respond to Incident at Annapolis Hall

The campus community received a BURG alert on Friday, Feb. 7th at 8:45 p.m. citing police activity at Annapolis Hall, one of the residence halls in the lower quad.

The Frostburg City Police and University Police responded to an armed robbery at the dorm. The dispatch detailed a suspect entering a room on the third floor with a weapon. The suspect was dressed in a black mask with green marks, a black sweatshirt, and sweats. According to the dispatch, the suspect left through the rear of Annapolis.

This is the second incident to occur in the 2019-2020 academic year in Annapolis Hall. A non-student was sexually assaulted in the same residence hall by another non-student in the fall 2019 semester.

A suspect has been identified.

This is an ongoing and developing story.
