Premiere Week: Your Favorite Shows Back In Action

Fall means plenty of things.  It’s the season to get back into the swing of school routines, reunite with friends, spend time around bonfires, and prepare yourself for the return of your favorite TV shows.  The week of September 21st calls for the season premieres of various series and maybe even a chunk of time to binge-watch your faves.

The ground-breaking and life-changing invention, otherwise known as Netflix, has quite possibly lowered the amount of time the average American spends watching an actual television show.  Fortunately for avid Netflix users, many popular shows can be found within just a few clicks.  Instant, on-demand Internet streams like Netflix have given individuals the opportunity to binge-watch whatever they please – though many studies show the negative effects excessive watching has on a viewer’s health, and not to be overlooked, the normal social life.

Believe it or not, there are still humans out there who enjoy watching their favorite show weekly – not one season immediately after the other.  They appreciate the anticipation of waiting until the following week and spend the extra time to analyze what just happened on screen.

The third week of September hosts the premieres of many popular series.  These include The Big Bang Theory Season 9 on Sept. 21st, NCIS Season 13 on Sept. 22nd, Empire Season 2 on Sept. 23rd, Grey’s Anatomy Season 12 on Sept. 24th, and The Amazing Race Season 27 on Sept. 25th.  Of these shows, NCIS and Grey’s Anatomy are available on Netflix.  The Big Bang Theory and The Amazing Race are available via Netflix DVD.

In other TV news, the award-winning, well-known, beloved series Friends celebrated its 21st anniversary on September 22nd.  All seasons of Friends were released to Netflix users on New Year’s Day 2015.  The heart-warming, popular cast can also be viewed almost daily on Nick @ Nite and TBS stations.

Another Netflix favorite and heart-warming series from the past, One Tree Hill celebrated an anniversary on September 23rd.  It’s been 12 years since Chad Michael Murray and cast first hit the screen.

If you’re a TV junkie, take advantage of free time to catch up with your favorite characters and enjoy weekly TV shows.  Live up to that college-student-can’t-live-without-Netflix reputation.  Follow these intriguing, premiering series to kick back and take a break from the hectic school week.
