Stay Up to Date with the Men’s Lacrosse Team

Frostburg State Men’s Lacrosse has been hard at work preparing for their upcoming season. Because the previous two seasons had been cut short due to COVID, it is hopeful that this season will be different and the Men’s Lacrosse team will have the chance to compete for for a conference championship.

The Bobcats first game this season will take place Saturday, February 26th. The game is against Lake Erie and will be played at Bobcat Stadium at 1 P.M. This seventeen game season will start at the end of February and end in late April. Lastly, the men will be having their senior day during their last game at home, which will take place Saturday April 30th at 1 P.M.

Preseason polls came out early last week for the Bobcats. The first poll was that the men were voted 16th in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). But, the week after the USILA voted again and placed them at 15th. Next, Tanner Donnaldson (#34) was named preseason Third Team All- American. The Bobcats were also voted to place 2nd in the East Coast Conference (ECC).

Before the first game, the Bobcats have a quick banquet. You can attend in person, for a fee, or request to watch the online version. The RVSP ends Friday February, 18th, the banquet itself being held on Friday, February 25th from 7-9pm. The guest speakers for the evening will be Bob Bennett ‘72 and David Sampson, USMC.

You can watch the games in person at Bobcat Stadium or online on the Frostburg Sports website.
