On Saturday, Sept. 9, Live at Lane presented The Plain White T’s. The opening act, a student group named Echo Circle, got the stage ready as they sang popular songs like “Crazy” by Cee lo Green. Everyone was having a blast as Echo Circle prepared the hype!

After a few songs, The Plain White T’s took the stage as the crowd cheered them on. They started the show off with one of their opening songs “Bonnie I Want You” off their new album, Parallel Universe. The album was released Aug. 24, 2018 and by the reviews, the fans are loving it so far.

Later during the show, the lead singer Tom Higgenson told the crowd they were going to sing an old original song that everyone was going to love. “1, 2, 3, 4” started playing and the crowd went wild, considering everyone knew the song from beginning to end.

The band sang another song called “Your Body,” which is also on their new album. Before performing the song, lead guitarist Tim G. Lopez said, “Is the ratio for women 20:1? This is a good place to go to school for a dude.” Everyone spilled out in laughter.

The crowd could not stop shouting as they recited the words to another fan favorite, “Our Time Now.” After that song, Tom suggested that the fans should help them sing their second to last song for the night, word for word. The crowd did just that as “Hey There Delilah” began to play. They ended their segment with “End of the World.” They thanked everyone for coming out to Frostburg State and seeing them perform.

Their new album Parallel Universe is available in stores, on Spotify, Amazon, and Apple Music.
