Thomas Leaves: FSU VP of University Advancement Position Now Vacant

Dr. Rosemary Thomas, Frostburg State University Vice President of University Advancement, will no longer be serving the FSU community as of March 25, 2014. “Rosemary Thomas has left the position of Vice President for personal reasons,” stated Liz Medcalf, FSU Director of News and Media Services.

Thomas was hired to the Vice President position at Frostburg State University during the 2012-2013 school year. In her position, she served as Executive Director of the FSU Foundation along with supervising the Alumni Affairs Office and Admissions office.

This makes the second Vice President position to become vacant during this academic year. During the fall semester, the Provost, or Vice President for Academic Affairs, position was vacant and filled by then interim provost Dr. William Childs. In early February, it was announced that Childs would fill the position full time.
