Track Star Truesdel Competes at NCAA Indoor Championships

On Friday, March 9, Frostburg State University (FSU) senior Kayla Truesdel competed at the 2018 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala.  The star sprinter competed in the 200-meter dash and ran a time of 25.25 seconds in her preliminary heat.  That time secured her third place in her heat and eleventh overall out of seventeen competitors.  Unfortunately, Truesdel narrowly missed advancing to the finals in the event, but wrapped up her stellar collegiate indoor track & field career with three straight NCAA championship appearances.  This year, Truesdel also earned her second consecutive CAC Indoor Female Athlete of the Year award, her first coming in the 2017 season.
