It’s Valentine’s day, and the cliches are inescapable. This can get tiring, especially for those who may not have a significant other or care to celebrate.

But don’t worry! The University Programming Council had our backs and this time they weren’t following stereotypes. All week they offered some little way to help you celebrate or at least acknowledge V-Day week, even if you dread it. From free candy to live music, they had us covered. On Feb. 14th, students had the opportunity to decorate mugs, make and stuff their own pillows, and enjoy quesadillas! They even had a photo booth to take cute selfies with friends. Students got into the activities, and made some creative mugs! Whether they gave them away as gifts or kept them for themself, it’s hard to name a better way to spend a snowy Valentine’s day; snuggled up with cocoa in a freshly designed mug!
