Which Fraternity/Sorority Should I Join?
In the midst of attending [in-person and online] classes, studying, jobs, and every other responsibility that comes with the college life, it’s difficult to keep track of the organizations that Frostburg State has to offer. Truthfully, I wasn’t entirely sure what fraternities and sororities existed (much less what the differences between them were) until I wrote this article.
As stated on the FSU website, “The mission of the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office is to build and promote strong, healthy relationships and build community. To develop strong leadership skills, foster an environment that promotes diversity, personal, and educational growth. Establishing strong alumni connections that serve as a resource to guide the fraternities and sororities towards future success.” While fraternities and sororities are great for socializing and forming relationships with others, they are also fantastic ways to make professional connections, get involved in the community, and participate in raising funds to donate to charity.
To help with the overwhelming amount of options and all the different values each of these organizations have, I managed to coordinate with 8 of these organizations to create a short quiz! This quiz is meant to help FSU students find which one best suits their values and goals. Of course, not every organization available is included, but this can still be used as a resource to narrow down the search and/or give the student an option that they may not have been aware of before taking the quiz.
It was an absolute pleasure to coordinate with these organizations. Special thanks to Bethany Bloom, Race Eckley, Michael Hollingsworth, Olivia Hubble, Pauline Pascariello, Collin Smith, Makayla Smith, and Keegan Wolf for being so friendly, putting up with my list of questions, and giving fantastic answers for me to work with for this quiz. I hope I did your amazing organizations some justice!

- Applicants must be full-time (12+ credit hours) registered FSU students and have a cumulative semester GPA of 2.5 or higher. Some organizations require higher than a 2.5 GPA.
*Some organizations require different GPA’s or are only open to certain majors, so just be aware to check for any specific requirements.

Thanks for your article. One other thing is the fact individual American states have their own personal laws in which affect people, which makes it quite difficult for the Congress to come up with a fresh set of rules concerning foreclosed on property owners. The problem is that every state has got own legal guidelines which may interact in a negative manner when it comes to foreclosure plans.
