Zeta Say!

Starting November 12 through November 16, the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated would be celebrating “Zeta Week”. Each day of the week, the ladies would be hosting a different event on campus. The ladies decided to kick off the week with what they like to call “Motivational Mondays”. On Mondays, the lovely women encourage everyone to think positive and keep their heads held high.

On Monday, November 12, 2018 the Lambda Iota Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated ended the day by inviting the students of Frostburg State University (FSU) to a game night in Dunkle Hall room 101. The ladies included classic games such as Uno, Jenga, and a giant game of Connect 4.

Members from different organizations, including the new members of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated, came to enjoy the games. The main event of the game night was the classic game Simon Says or in this case Zeta Says!

Just like the regular game the ladies would call out a command and the players would have to follow it. If the ladies did not start the command with “Zeta Says…”, then whoever followed the command would be considered out.

The game night was complemented with great music as well as great conversation. The ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated were ecstatic to see such a great turnout and thanked everyone who attended the event. Desmin Kent, a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, said, “it was a great turnout and nice to see members of different organizations come together to socialize and enjoy the event.”

Zeta week continued with events such as “Study with Phi Beta”, a study session with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated, on Tuesday in the Compton Science Center. On Wednesday, they charmed the students of FSU with some sweet treats. We here at The Bottom Line would like to thank the lovely ladies of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated for providing the FSU students with a such a great week of events.
