Crime Line 2/11 – 2/16

2/11/15 Hit and Run: The complainants advised that their vehicle, a blue 2013 Toyota Corolla bearing MD reg. had been damaged while parked in the Simpson Lot.

 

2/12/15 Drug Law Violation: Officers responded to Westminster Hall, room 204, for an strong odor of marijuana emitting from a room. The resident was referred to the Judicial Board.

 

2/13/15 Assist Other Agency: Officers assisted the assisted Frostburg City Police at Park Avenue, Frostburg, for two noise complaints.

 

2/13/15 Knock & Talks: Officers conducted Knock and Talks at Center and Maple Street.

 

2/13/15 Drug Law Violation: Officers were called to Sowers Hall, for an odor of CDS. Judicial Board Referral submitted.

 

2/14/15 Knock & Talks: Knock and Talks were conducted at Center Street, Frostburg.

 

2/14/15 Destruction of Property:  Officers responded to Sowers Hall, for damage to an entrance door. Damage was accidental.

 

2/14/15 Assist Other Agency: Officers responded to Broadway Street, Frostburg, to assist the Frostburg Police Department with a “Burglary In Progress” complaint. Incident was unfounded.

 

2/15/15 Assist Other Agency: Frostburg City Police requested assistance for fire alarm at  Wood St., Frostburg. Officers stood-by until fire units arrived on the scene.

 

2/16/15 Theft: An FSU Employee advised her phone, IPhone 4S Blue w/coral case valued at $300.00 was stolen on Friday afternoon while at the Food Court FSU.

 

2/16/15 Breaking and Entering: A student came into the station to report his cell phone stolen. He stated that he thinks that this is a prank.

 

2/16/15 Breaking and Entering:  A student came into the station to report his cell phone stolen; his roommate also had his phone taken during this time.  He stated that he thinks that this is a prank. Officers advised him to contact the police if he finds the phone. He had no further information at this time.

 

 

2/16/15 Alarm: Officers were dispatched to Frederick Hall for a report of a trouble alarm activation.  They were unable to observe any situations around the building which appeared suspicious or dangerous.

 

2/16/15 Request for Officer: Officers were dispatched to Cumberland hall for possible CDS.  This was unfounded and they advised the RA of the findings.
