Women’s Field Hockey Wraps Up Season
The women’s Field Hockey team wrapped up their season this past Thursday April 22nd against Johns Hopkins. Unfortunately, they did not get the result they wanted, losing 0-4. The women only got to play in a four game season instead of the five games they were supposed to.
Overall, the women ended the season with one win and three losses (1-3). They loss to Saint Mary’s twice with scores of 1-3 and 0-2, with the one goal by Sam Coffey. Next, they beat Mercyhurst University 5-2, but only got to play them once as opposed to twice like they were supposed to originally. One goal was scored by Taylor Henderson, two goals were scored by Heidi Van Dyk, and two goals were scored by Brooke Lafayette.
